The 2020 Chinese New Year campaign features evolved and refreshed versions of Coca Cola’s iconic Clay Dolls, which have become synonymous with the annual celebration and the brand. The new year called for the beloved character’s design to be updated and the animation to be elevated.
I was responsible for their design as well as animation that effectively communicated the strength of family bonds, sharing and happiness especially during the festive period. Other areas of contribution include character redesign, pre-visualization, on-set supervision and key visual layouts.
This years TV spot was shortlisted as a finalist in the Animation & Effects Awards Festival (AEAF) Commercials Animation category.
